Are you making an M41A Pulse Rifle that is just for display? Want it to have a counter, but don't need it to actually count? Then this very simple module is the module for you. It just shows a number. A single, static, number.

And you choose the number it displays. Just send us a message, either though email, or as a note added to your order, of the number you'd like, and we will build it to your specifications. In fact, it doesn't even have to be a number. Just anything that can be represented on a dual 7-segment LED display. 

It is designed to run off two AA or AAA batteries (not included), but if you have special requirements for the power please let us know, and we can make whatever adjustments are needed to accommodate you.

What you need to provide:

• Batteries and some form of battery holder, or an external power supply if you want it mains powered.
• A power switch to turn it on and off.

What we provide:

• The display module, configured for your number.
• Roughly a third of a meter of wire pre-soldered for your convenience.

FAQ

Can I change the number at a later date?

Possibly. The number is configured by the combination of resistors on the back of the module - one resistor per segment of the display. While it is perfectly possible to add and remove resistors, they are quite small (they are surface mount 0603 size, and 120Ω for the default 3V battery), and require good soldering skills.
