Dual 5V and 3.3V UBEC
It's all very well getting a high efficiency 5V power supply and feeding it into your Arduino or chipKIT board, but 5V is only half the story. The 5V is then regulated down to 3.3V using inefficient linear voltage regulators.
This power supply, however, provides you with both 3.3V and 5V power in one handy high efficiency board. Power your entire project from just this one little gadget.
Each power channel provides up to 1A, far more than the on-board regulators of an Arduino or similar board are capable of providing.
The TC105 voltage regulators are some of the most efficient on the market. With up to 92% efficiency this board will extend the battery life of your project. Coupled with that is a special low-power mode which increases efficiency when your project draws less current (such as when your microcontroller is put to sleep), this is the perfect board for supplying your battery-based power needs.
The input voltage can be anywhere between 5V and 10V (actually you can push it as high as 12V in, but it's not recommended). This makes it absolutely perfect for coupling with two-cell ("2S") Lithium Ion or Lithium Polymer batteries (around 7.4V) commonly used in remote control model vehicles and drones, etc. You can also use 9V "PP3" batteries for low-power projects.
|Input Voltage||5V - 10V|
|Output Voltage||3.3V @ 1A, 5V @ 1A|
|Efficiency||Up to 92%|
